Soccer Passing Drills - Secrets of the pro's..

Soccer Passing Drills - These are considered fundamental drills by professionals..

All professional players and coaches would agree that practicing passing will help a player develop faster than any other practice.

With that being said, lets get to some soccer passing drills.

Same Foot Pass Back: This drill can be done either with two people, or with a soccer rebounder.

Directions:

Have your players space themselves apart by at least 5-10 feet.

One player will then pass to the other player using only their right foot to pass.

The other player will then receive the ball with their left foot, and then pass with their left foot.

The passing continues in this manner, with each player using only one different foot in the drill.

After a while, switch the drill so that each player changes the foot they are using.

Further Explanation:

This drill forces your team to use both feet when passing and receiving the ball. By allowing one player to use their dominant foot, while another player is forced to use only their weaker foot will demonstrate how lopsided your teams foot skills are. Do this drill for your team now, and they will thank you when they score goals with their weaker foot.

How to add difficulty, or get more out of these soccer passing drills:

Move your players closer to each other, or allow them only one touch. Another way to add difficulty is to force your team to keep their heads up and away from the ball when they pass and receive it. The faster your team can pass accurately, the better you will play.
